Baby carriers are great because they allow you to keep your hands free and maintain close contact with your baby (and even breastfeed) while carrying him or her in a position that’s fairly ergonomic, which means it won’t put too much stress on your back. Though I haven’t personally used ERGObaby carriers (I’d never heard of them til after I’d become comfortable with my carrier of choice), I know many parents who have used them and I’ve only ever heard good things. The ERGObaby carriers are cool because you can wear your baby on either your front or your back, and they can be used from newborn to 45 lbs.
