Spring is near and it’s a great time to transition from heart-themed activities to rainbow-themed ones!
I’ve created a pack of FREE printable rainbow templates you can download and use for fine motor activities with the kids in your life!
I initially created these so we could build rainbows out of Fruit Loops! This was specifically for my kiddos who are working on their grasp development or expanding their ability to touch and interact with new foods.
Because many of the children I work with benefit from visual supports and/or are motivated to participate in activities involving letters and numbers, I’ve created five different kinds of rainbow templates:
- Blank rainbow
- Rainbow with blank circles (visual guides)
- Rainbow with ABCs
- Rainbow with 123s
- Rainbow with first letter of each color (ROYGBP)
In this packet, I’ve also made three different sizes of each template for you:
- Full page
- Half page (two copies per page)
- Quarter page (four copies per page)
This will allow you to use the rainbows with a variety of materials and sizes of materials. The full page rainbows are perfectly sized for Fruit Loops. The smaller sizes will work well for smaller materials such as pony beads or Perler Beads. You could also use these rainbow templates with stickers, dot markers, colorful washi tape, scissors, and more!
Please let me know how you and your kiddos like it by leaving a comment below!
