Here’s a Christmas fine motor activity for toddlers that’s simple and fun!
All you need are some jingle bells and an empty water bottle! We got our supply of jingle bells at Michaels craft store for about four dollars.
This Christmas fine motor activity is similar to my pom pom water bottle activity. It gives toddlers the chance to explore through the sense of touch and sound while also practicing their grasping, bilateral (two-handed coordination), hand-eye coordination, and concentration skills.
This activity is only appropriate for children who will not put the jingle bells in their mouth, and close supervision is recommended to ensure safety. Jingle bells come in a variety of sizes, so you can choose larger ones and even use a bottle with a wider opening (such as a sports drink bottle) in order to make it safer.
